We skipped town this weekend and went with my parents and Mimi to the Balloon Festival and you know what we had a good time. Here are the pictures from day 1 at the fest and hopefully I will get day 2 of downtown Santa Fe up tomorrow.
While we were in Santa Fe having a good time Dusty had gone to Colorado to see his grandfather who was in the hospital and not doing well. Today during lunch he got a call that his grandfather had passed away so if you could keep him and us in your prayer as we will be making a trip to Colorado this week for the funeral. I ask for prayers because we usually fly up there and fly back it just happens to be in a car. :)Us visiting his grandparents last October, a year ago yesterday. To lose both in a year is hard. He was almost 90 and drove himself down to see us back in the spring. He served in the Army and was a Master Sgt. and survived D-day. He was a wealth of history you don't come across much anymore.
By the way that is Dusty's uncle Bobber, do you see a resemblance. I guess I know what Dusty will look like in 25 years.

He's our all boy, Daddy loving, amazingly messy, John Deere adoring, people pleasing, ultra sensitive, chocolate craving, brown eyed, mercifully giving, bed hopping, dangerously destructive, absolutely precious first born.

She's our total diva, big hearted, completely dramatic, very talkative, nurturing, terribly sassy, independent, fashion forward, fruit craving, Mommy helping, sorta sneaky, beautifully stunning second born!

I'm sorry to hear about that... we'll say prayers for you guys
You have a couple of cuties on you hands. So adorable! :)
The kids had to love the balloons. That's one thing I've always wanted to go see...but we're a little far away now to thinking about packing up and driving.
I bet this is something Brier will remember! That was cool to take them there...I'm sure Baylor was like 'Huh, OK, that's pretty cool'...'do you think we could have one of those at home mom?' :) Very good pics of everyone! Thank you for the story of Gordy, he went peacefully, or atleast I believe he did.
You take the best pictures! What kind of camera do you use?
