A chance to catch my breath

Dusty decided to take Brier today for a guys day, they went to Lubbock to get Brier a haircut and a new pair of boots. I had so much on my list of things to do: wash clothes, pick up ground zero (our house) that Brier has destroyed, a little time for myself, and a bunch of other things. So the first thing I did was I laid down with Baylor and took a nap and before I knew they were home, oh well they toys will be out again tomorrow anyway.

Wow...2 post in 1 day

of course, I'm feeding Baylor again

I love this outfit

from Valentine's Day I'm just getting it up

Seriously

What did I do with all my time when I only had 1 kid. I know you hear people say that all the time but really even as I sit here and type this I'm feeding Baylor. No kidding, two years ago this month I was on the beach in San Deigo and didn't even have any kids. Did me and Dusty just sit around and stare at each other then. But, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

What day is it?

2 Week Old + 2 Year Old + the worse flu season in years + icey roads =

CABIN FEVER

Although I would love to stay at home with my kids every once in a while I enjoy getting to go to work and talk to adults, so being at home going on 3 weeks now without even going to the store is starting to get to me. I'm staying at home because I know it is the best thing for these bambinos. And of course last night on the news they were talking about how bad the flu is and were showing a 1 month old in the hospital with the flu, so looks like I'll be home a few more weeks.
Baylor went for her 2 week checkup yesterday and she's gained a pound and grown an inch, so I guess she is getting enough to eat and I don't need to worry.

On our way to the doctor

Valentine's gifts from Dix & Grandad

Jama time, its not a very good picture but Baylor was hungry and Brier was sleepy, so it was the best I could do.

Its EXHAUSTING

Really, I've been trying to update

but blogger hasn't been letting me post pictures. Hopefully today will be the day.
Baylor getting her daily sun and Brier checking her out.

5 things Baylor loves:
1. being swaddled (the tighter the better)
2. being cuddled
3. her time in the sun
4. being talked to
5. oh and eating, she really loves that

5 things Baylor doesn't love:
1. her pacifier (I thought at first she liked it)
2. being held out in the air
3. bath time
4. the car seat
5. having her nose sucked (I think all babies hate this)

The question everyone is wondering, is she sleeping. She eats at 11:30, 2:30, and usually around 5:30 or 6 and then she goes back to sleep until 9 so if I'm lucky Brier will sleep until 9 too, if not we're usually up at 8 but she sleeps so much better than Brier did at first he was up every other hour for an hour.

Our First Night Home

I forgot what it was like, but honestly it is easier the second time around. She did let me sleep for about 4 hours but I think she had a bit of a tummy ache. So here is the good stuff, pictures.

Brier has been so good, as good as I could have ever asked. He's not jealous at all and every once in a while he has to go find Baylor just to check on her.
