Just a little update

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and everything looks good, she's weighing heavy a little already, she is right at a pound but he did confirm again for me that she's a girl and I got another picture showing us, I won't post it though. Dusty got to fell her move for the first time last night, actually twice. The first time his eyes just got big and then the second time he didn't say anything just smiled and then walked off. I guess you're more excited about the little things on the second one because you know what you are really getting when you look at your older child. Speaking of Brier, he's doing good, into everything as usual. But I don't expect any more or less from him.

Oh, he is learning his body parts, he pats his elbow and says "bow-bow" and then when your ask where his eye is he winks and for his nose he scrunches it up. He's so cute.

20 Weeks - Half Way There

Woohoo, this pregnancy has flown by, I guess because I have a little fella that occupies my time. When I stop and think about what all I have to get done in the upcoming weeks I start to panic a little but then when I stop and think that I have 5 months to go still that seems like forever.

The online baby tracker says that she is continuing to grow long but is mostly just fattening up. She's also adding hair and fingernails. I go to the doctor this afternoon and will hopefully get a to see her squirming around again, she moves a lot just like Brier did. I guess that a glimpse into the future.

I think our little girl has her momma's temper already, Brier kicked me in the tummy last night and it didn't make her very happy at all, it took her awhile to calm down. I guess Brier is going to have a run for his money, it's a good thing he can run fast.

Thankfulness

First of all let me tell you how thankful I am today, as a mom you ask for nothing more than for your children to be healthy and happy. As some of you know (but most don't) Brier also had a very important appointment yesterday. At our last regular pediatrician appointment Carrie, the nurse, and also Dr. Brodbeck both heard something a little different about Brier's heart. Which is a very scary thing, we know how serious these things can be. Brier was the perfect little angel he laid there so still for the pediatric cardiologist to do a scan of his heart. Which those of you that have been around Brier for more than 30 seconds know that he runs everywhere and always at least has to have a toe moving even in his sleep. So Dr. Flippin was able to get really good pictures and I'm so happy to say that he's perfect. He has what is called an innocent heart murmur which he will grow out of. We just figure Trista told him that if you lay really still and you're a big boy that you get to go get a toy. Whatever worked, I don't care.

Also, I'm very happy to say that our little GIRL is perfect too. Yeap, it's a girl! I'm so excited to have one of each but more excited that the doctor said she looks wonderful. I think Dusty is a little scared to have a girl, he doesn't know what to do with a girl, with a boy your suppose to wrestle, rope, and fix up old pickups. Brier has him pretty wrapped around his finger so I'm pretty sure this little girl will too. Here's some sonogram pictures of her. And no we don't have a name yet, sorry.

profile picture, she looks just like Brier did, and no they don't all look the same right

her feet, ahhh, aren't they cute

and it's a girl, we got several shots saying it's a girl, so no doubt about it

New Pics of Brier

New tricycle, it's always a dangerous
combination when Brier and Dusty go
shopping alone.

New jamas, thanks GranD, he wasn't
to sure about the feet at first but got use to them
after awhile.

Sometimes you're just too tired to walk to bed, so
Daddy had to give him a ride to his rascal den, ya know
that's where little rascals hibernate during the night.

Brier playing in his toy bucket, it's more fun than
the actual toys.

What Momma's are made of.

Thankfully, we all made it through it. Brier got the cold first, and of course the good mother I am, I just thought he had allergies really bad. To make myself feel a little better even his doctor thought it was allergies. Anyway after several days of allergy medicine not doing a whole lot for him what do you know me and Dusty come down with it. So while Brier and Dusty are downing cold, allergy, and pain reliever medicine, good 'ol momma didn't take one single pill not one, because you can never be too careful when you're pregnant, right?

Brier playing in the water

This video is from awhile back when it rained 4 inches at our house. Brier loves the water no matter how cold is it.

Another note, this pregnancy to me seems to be flying by even this past month has gone by really fast anticipating getting to find out at our appointment on Monday BUT since we didn't get to find out on Monday these last couple of days are seeming to drag by I hope it's not this way until we go back on the 17th for our next sonogram.

The Verdict is....still out

Yep, doc couldn't tell yesterday what the baby might be so we get to wait for 3 more weeks until we go back to the high risk doctor and they'll do an in depth sonogram and hopefully we will be able to tell then. This baby just doesn't want to cooperate and show us. We are having to learn patience through this whole thing. I guess I can't complain it could be worse we could have to wait until it's born to know, that wouldn't be very much fun at all.
