UPDATE: Last I heard this morning around 9:00 he had gotten out of Baghdad and was in Jordan waiting for a plane out and he should be here tomorrow (Thursday). Thanks for the prayers. Cancun here we come.
So my sister-in-law Amy is getting married next week in Cancun and we're all so excited not only for her to be getting married since the movie Runaway Bride was about her (love ya Amy), but really because we're all getting to go to Cancun. Anyway her soon-to-be-husband is currently trying his dangdest to get home right now from Baghdad and if you haven't heard they are having horrible dust storm and it's about 140 degrees over there right now. Since we're all from West Texas we should have a little more sympathy than most for not only him but all our guys and girl serving over there living that day to day. Anyway we all know when the sands blowing that bad the airports shut down so if you wouldn't mind saying an itty-bitty teeny-weeny quick prayer for those nasty sandstorms to go away and he can get home. Thanks a million.

Yay!
My friend Holly finally gave in to my peer pressure and went out and got herself a brand new... drumroll please... BLOG and I went out and got me one of those instant messaging thingys because of her peer pressure.
(Yeah, she's sitting in the dark because she's a graphic designer and we're all weird like that)
I haven't gotten mine all working and stuff yet because I work on a Mac but certain programs I use, like Swish, only work on PCs and so since Macs are all sophisticated and stuff they have what is called a dual processing system, which means it can be a Mac one minutes and turn into a PC (like a Dell) another minute. When I try to open it and use, it starts up my dual processing system and it causes a major traffic jam on my computer but I'm still working on figuring it out.
Okay, did I sound like I know what I'm talking about because I really don't have a clue, so if there is a major IT guru out there who knows what I need to do send me a comment. But if you want to IM me here is my address thatadriangirl@yahoo.com. I will still be using my other email as my primary one though so email me there because I already forgot the password to my yahoo account.
And I promise to quit changing my background. That other was just to hard on the eyes.
Update: Oops, I changed it again, but I love black and white damask. Sorry this one is pretty hard on the eyes too. But I love it, if I had a lot of $$$ laying around my kitchen would be getting a major overhaul done on it to be b&w damask.

Where have all the babies gone
Here is what Baylor learned to do yesterday she had been practicing for awhile but really did it yesterday, the Boppy was there for emotional support. She was pretty proud of herself.

Sometimes I wish Brier had just a few more ounces of fear in him but he's pretty fearless. I see a lot of ER visits in our future.
Atlas 3I had to put the camera down at this point he decided he needed to join the horses on the other side of the fence and I didn't think that was such a good idea.
Me & Baylor doing our reverse crunches, we'll both have rock hard abs soon. Actually she has a better chance of that happening than I do.Posted by The Mellberg Family at 6/24/2008 1 comments

As promised
1. Laundry
2. Clean the bathrooms
3. Mow the yard
4. Run a marathon

We busted out the inflatable swimming pool this weekend for Brier, and Baylor wanted to put on her swimsuit on in support for him so I let her. Even me and Dusty got in the pool, we were such rednecks, but we had fun with Brier. So here are a few pictures I took of Brier and Baylor.

Please join my pity party....
I try not to be a whiner and I don't believe in the whole Friday the 13th stuff, but really can a girl get a break. It all started last week a lot of little things added up to make it a bad week and I was exhausted and looking forward to the weekend for some nice relaxation. So Saturday morning rolled around and that is when an arachnophobia type spider decided to join the bathtub party with Brier and Baylor, I'm not even sure how that big of a spider got in our bath room and I was doing really good trying to kill it until it got a little wet and started jumping and jumped on Baylor. I lost it at that point and Dusty came running, but when I was riping Baylor out of her bath seat I scratch her legs which made her start screaming too. I guess the spider was just following the snake's example from earlier in the week, he didn't make it all the way in but he was pretty much knocking on the front door, Dusty had to wait until until he slithered off some to go kill it. Then Saturday afternoon the strap on my favorite sandal broke and then on Sunday while we were at church our dog died. So if you are even still reading this I know its not really that bad and I'm just whining a bit but I'm looking forward to a new week and we did have a little fun in between all of that and those pictures will be up soon.

Baylor has been having a few "first" here are some pictures of her first time in her exersaucer, she loves it.
I have pictures of her taking cereal for a test drive the first time but haven't gotten them to the computer and upload and you know all that stuff. I'll give you fair warning they are messsssy.
Trista had her dance recital last Friday night and it was the cutest thing ever so if you want to see some picture of the kitty around click here.

All Boy
Brier is all boy. He loves to be outside more than anything else. His perfect day is to be outside just following Dusty around, he would do it all day every day if we let him but it is just tooooo HOT.

Sorry for the fuzziness, my camera battery is dead.

He's our all boy, Daddy loving, amazingly messy, John Deere adoring, people pleasing, ultra sensitive, chocolate craving, brown eyed, mercifully giving, bed hopping, dangerously destructive, absolutely precious first born.

She's our total diva, big hearted, completely dramatic, very talkative, nurturing, terribly sassy, independent, fashion forward, fruit craving, Mommy helping, sorta sneaky, beautifully stunning second born!
